Diary 21st - 25th April

Monday - 10 a.m I went with fellow supporters of Peafield Playscheme, including fellow Councillor Jill Usher, to meet the new Head of Peafield Nursery & Primary School. Mr Walker is committed to community values and we all are looking forward to working together for the betterment of the relations between school and community.

1p.m - at Civic Centre as a member of the Neighbouring Working Group.

6 - 8 p.m Manor School Governor training, held at Robin Hood School.

Tuesday - 9a.m To Manor School to visit the Head, for discussions revolving around the results of my earlier Governor visit, which had been to learn more about the work of Student Services staff.

4 p.m  Select Commission 1 meeting, which deals with Housing & Environment issues.

Wednesday - 2.30 p.m Standards Committee for a presentation by Ruth Marlow, Managing Director of MDC, to learn of the proposed changes to the Constitution, followed by

5 - 8 p.m Training in Questioning Skills, which will be useful in the event of future call-in of Executive Decisions and will also be useful for Planning Committee.

Thursday - Street surgeries were planned, but were rained off, unfortunately.

As usual, I have been kept busy with constituents’ problems, which I am unable to document here because of the Data Protection Act.
